Lightning strike kills three in UP's Ballia

At least three persons were killed and four others injured when lightning struck them here today, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Mohan Kannaujia (40), a resident of Kurha Tetra village, Radhika Devi (50), a resident of Muriyaari village, and Sonu (18) of Kirtupur village, they said.

The four persons who suffered injuries were undergoing medical treatment, police said.
