Local BJP leader murdered; one held

A 40-year-old leader of BJP's local Minority Front cell was murdered here allegedly over an old dispute, police said today.

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of Mohmed Ayyum Mohmed Ibrahim last night and are looking for two more persons, said an officer attached with Pawarwadi police station.

Ibrahim was attacked with shard-edged weapons by three persons last night when he was returning to Daregaon Shivar.
