Local scribe shot dead

A journalist working with a Hindi daily was shot dead today by motorcycle-borne men in Bakewar area of the district.

Surendra Sharma, who was working for newspaper Aaj, was shot dead this evening by the unidentified men while he was on a bike, police said.

A case has been registered and probe into the matter was on.
