Karnataka Lokayukta Police today raided the premises of seven government officials, including Assistant Conservator of Forest, in various parts of the state.
Acting on a tip-off, the raid was carried out simultaneously by Lokayukta officials at the premises of the officials in Bangalore city, Bangalore rural, Belgaum, Mandya and Udupi, and unearthed details of property worth Rs 8.4 crore disproportionate to their known sources of income, a Lokayukta press release said here.
So far, Lokayukta sleuths have recovered documents of immovable properties. Criminal cases have been registered against the officials, it said.
