Magistrate, daughter killed in car-van collision

A 30-year-old lower court Magistrate and her two-year-old daughter were killed today when their car collided with a police van in Lakshmangarh area.

Rajdeep Kaur, who was posted as magistrate in Churu district's Taranagar, and her daughter, Namrata, were killed in the accident, Station House Officer at Lakshmangarh Police Station Hoshiyar Singh said.

Her husband Rajdeep Singh and four policemen are receiving treatment at the Sikar Government Hospital, he said.

The accident occurred on the Jaipur-Bikaner National Highway when the family was on its way to Jaipur from Churu, the SHO said.
