Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today embarked on a three-day tour of South Korea and Singapore where he will visit infrastructure projects and hold meetings for investments.

The chief minister is scheduled to meet several business leaders in South Korea and discuss the prospect of investment in state's flagship projects.

On day one of the tour, he will meet representatives of global giants such as Samsung, Hyundai Heavy Engineering, LG Electronics and Hyosung.

"The interactions will focus on getting FDI for the state," a statement from the chief minister's office said.

It, however, did not elaborate on Fadnavis's engagements in the latter part of the visit.

When contacted, an official from the CMO said details will be shared once the engagements are through.
