Maha constitutes new state Hindi Sahitya Academy committee

The Maharashtra government in a GR issued last week announced a new committee of the state's Hindi Sahitya Academy.
Dr Shitla Prasad Dubey will be the panel's new working president while Brajmohan Pandey, Prasad Kathe, Amarjeet Mishra, Gajanan Mahatpurkar (all from Mumbai), Sunil Kulkarni (Jalgaon), Dr Vijay Sharma (Dhule), Bharti Gore (Aurangabad) are some of the members.
The Maharashtra Hindi Sahitya Academy works to promote the language and operates under the state government's ministry of culture.
Dubey said, "We all will work as a team for the betterment of Hindi under the aegis of cultural minister."

The announcement was made on October 25 in a GR signed by deputy secretary Vilas Thorat.
