Maha: Man stabbed to death; old enmity suspected

A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death early Tuesday in Ulhasnagar township in Thane district of Maharashtra, police said.

A previous enmity is suspected to be the motive behind the murder of Deepak Bhoir, who was attacked with sharp-edged weapons near Phataka market area, a local police officer said.

Police have identified one suspect who is yet to be arrested, he said.

A case of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered.
