Himachal Pradesh government has declared Maharana Pratap Jayanti, falling on June 11, as a gazetted holiday in the state in lieu of restricted holiday on June 15.
June 11 would be a gazetted holiday, but June 15 would not be restricted holiday, a government notification said.
However, June 11 would not be a holiday under section-25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 and would not be applicable to daily wagers.
