Congress MLA Aslam Shaikh has alleged that the BJP-Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra was ignoring the problems of the minority community and not allotting funds for welfare schemes introduced for the community by the earlier Congress government.
Shaikh was speaking at a meeting of the Congress Minorities Cell here yesterday.
Shaikh who represents Malad West constituency in Mumbai hit out at the AIMIM without naming it for division of Muslim votes in the last Assembly elections and asked the community not to be taken in by such parties in future.
