Mahindra CIE Automotive appoints Ander Arenaza Alvarez as CEO

Mahindra groups auto component arm Mahindra CIE Automotive has appointed Ander Arenaza Alvarez as the Chief Executive Officer of the company with immediate effect.

In order to optimise the synergy between Mahindra CIE's operations in India and its subsidiaries and between Mahindra CIE and CIE Automotive SA, the board has appointed Alvarez as the CEO of the company with effect from July 26, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Alvarez joined CIE Automotive group ten years ago and has managed the machining and aluminium divisions.

Shares of the company today ended at Rs 178.15 apiece on the BSE, down 0.03 per cent from previous close.
