Malhotra criticises CM's remarks on bandh

In a statement, he said he condemns the remarks of Dikshit that the Delhi Bandh was a failure.

He said said that in the past also BJP MLAs were expelled from the Assembly for demanding roll-back of enhancement of petrol, diesel and CNG prices and orders were issued to arrest all the BJP MLAs.

"Everyone opined that such massive Bandh was never experienced in Delhi," he said.

Keeping in view of the unprecedented protest, he said, the Chief Minister should immediately announce withdrawal of the proposed five per cent VAT on CNG.
