Mamata condoles Parmeshwar Godrej's death

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today condoled the demise of philanthropist and socialite Parmeshwar Godrej, wife of industrialist Adi Godrej.

"I express my deep grief at the demise of philanthropist Parmeshwar Godrej," Banerjee said in a message.

Parmeshwar Godrej died at a Mumbai hospital on Monday night after prolonged illness.

Parmeshwar, 70, a socialite and philanthropist who championed many social causes, was suffering from lung illness.
