Mamata's nominee presides railway panel's meeting

The Kolkata-based painter stressed on the need for enhanced security and better amenities for passengers at the meeting attended by panel members and railway officials.

Five of the total seven members participated in the hour-long meeting here. All members were appointed by Banerjee.

The last meeting of the committee was held in Mumbai.

The committee also sought for improvement of catering services and special facilities for handicapped in trains.
