Man, 2 daughters killed in road mishap in UP

A 48-year-old man and his two daughters were today killed when a car hit the motorcycle they were travelling on near Kotban outpost on National Highway 2 here, police said.

The incident occurred tonight when the trio was returning to their home in Bansa Gaon from Kosi Kalan, DSP Piyush Kumar said.

Ram Kishan, his daughters Kshamta (25) and Preeti (18) were killed on the spot, he said.

The driver of the car escaped from the spot, Kumar said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, the DSP said, adding that investigations are underway in the matter.
