Man arrested, 39 gm of heroin recovered

Police today arrested a man and recovered about 39 gm of heroin from his possession in Thuampui locality in Aizawl district.

Rosiamliana (39) of Tualbung village in the district was arrested for alleged possession of the contraband, a public relations officer of police department said.

The heroin is worth around Rs 1.5 lakh in the local market, the officer added.
