Man arrested after pistol seized from his possession

A man was arrested in Imphal West district after a pistol was seized from his possession, police said Thursday.

The police while conducting a search operation at Thangmeiband Khomdram Leikai area of the district on Wednesday seized the 9 mm pistol and ammunition from the possession of the man, a release issued by the PRO of Manipur Police said.

A case has been registered at Imphal police station and further investigation was on, said the press release.
