Man arrested for possessing heroin: Police

A man was arrested today on charges of possessing heroin in Nagrota area on the outskirts of Jammu city.

Altaf Hussain, a native of Kashmir's Anantnag district and at present living in Khanpur area of Nagrota, was arrested and 1.02 gram of heroin seized from him, a police officer said.

The accused has been booked under various sections of NDPS Act, he said.
