A man was today arrested for allegedly abducting and raping a three-year-old girl on the Agra highway, police said today.
Raju Panjabi was arrested for kidnapping the minor from outside a gurudwara near Adarsh Nagar on Saturday and raping her after taking her to an isolated area on the highway, they said.
The accused was nabbed down after interrogation of several suspects, police said, adding, he confessed to the crime on questioning.
The girl was found by abandoned by a police party patrolling late on Saturday night following which she was admitted to a hospital where she underwent an operation, police added.
