Man arrested on rape charge

A man was arrested today for raping a minor girl in a locality in Town police station in Bihar's Bhojpur district, a police officer said.

Acting on a complaint, Md Ainal Haque was arrested for raping a three-year-old girl in Qazi Tola last night, Superintendent of Police (SP) Satyaveer Singh said.

The accused took the girl to a deserted place and raped her,he said.

The family members took the victim to a hospital earlier in the day after the local people had found her lying unconscious, Singh said.
