A man involved in circulation of fake currencies was today arrested from Kanpur Central railway station by Rajasthan police.
Police seized fake notes of Rs 3.5 lakh face value from him.
"Rajasthan police's special operation group and city police were in look out for Surjit Kumar Yadav, a resident of Etawah, in connection with a fake currency racket," Circle officer, Kalactor Ganj said.
"On the basis of a tip off, police laid a trap and arrested him yesterday from Kanpur Central railway station. Police also seized 675 fake notes in denomination of Rs 500 from him," the officer said.
