Man arrested with three grams of heroin in J&K

A person has been arrested and three gram of heroin was recovered from his possession at Gangyal in this district today.

Harpal Singh was intercepted at a surprise check point and two packets of heroin weighing three grams were recovered from him, a police spokesperson said.

The accused was arrested and a case was registered against him under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, he said, adding investigations was underway.
