Man awarded life term in murder case
A local court today sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a murder case of 2013.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Brajesh Kumar Malviya found Vijay Mahto guilty of murder and also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
Digambar Kumar, a resident of Madhubani district, was found murdered in a hotel room in Darbhanga and the police lodged an FIR on April 20, 2013.
After the investigation, the police arrested Mahto, a resident Pothiya village of Muzaffarpur.
