Man burns teenaged daughter to death

A man allegedly killed his teenaged daughter by setting her on fire after an altercation in Chhatta police station area of the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday at Tarauli village, a police officer said.

The accused set his 16-year-old daughter on fire after an altercation.

The girl was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to burns, the police officer said, adding that the man has been arrested and sent to jail.
