A 40-year-old businessman died while his wife and three daughters survived after they allegedly consumed sleeping pills in a hotel room in S R Nagar area here this evening, police said.
Anil Kumar, who was in the real-estate business, decided to end the life alongwith his family at a hotel room because of financial problems, they said.
A hotel staff member found Anil and others lying on the floor when he entered the room.
While Anil Kumar died, others survived. Further probe is on.
