A man, accused of killing his broher-in-law by ramming a jeep into him, was today sentenced to life imprisonment by the sessions court here.
Additional sessions judge Pankaj Gaur convicted Mangoo Patel (52) of murder.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on Patel.
Prosecutor Prabhulal Malaviya said that Patel drove his jeep into the motorbike of his brother in-law Shahzad in Sanwer police station limits in the district on April 30, 2012.
There was some dispute between Patel and his second wife, Femida. Shahzad sided with his sister, which made Patel see red and kill him, as per the prosecution.
