Man given life term for trying to kill wife
A local court today sentenced a person to life imprisonment for trying to kill his wife.
According to the prosecution, Sivakumar doubted his wife fidelity to himself and frequently quarrelled over it.
On May 13, 2015, Sivakumar demanded that his wife sell the house owned by her and handover the money to him. When she refused, he stabbed her.

The neighbours rescued her and following her complaint, Sivakumar was arrested.
When the case came up, Erode District Mahila Court Judge N Thirunavukkarasu sentenced him to life for attempting to kill his wife.
