Man guns down wife, mother-in-law in UP

A 32-year-old man today shot dead his wife and mother-in-law before taking his own life in a village in the Manikpur area here, the police said.

Faheemuddin shot dead his wife Firoza Bano (30) and mother-in-law Afsari Begum (55) in Kusahil Deeh village with a country-made pistol, they said.

He then turned the pistol on himself. All of them were rushed to a hospital, where they were declared brought dead.

The police said Faheemuddin did not have cordial relations with his wife and she was living with her mother.
