Man hangs son, self over wife's illicit affair

Suspecting his wife of having an illicit affair, a man allegedly killed his five-year-old son and later committed suicide here, police said today.

Rakesh Kumar Yadav, 26, killed his son Mohit by hanging him and later hanged himself in Alinagar area yesterday, Superintendent of Police Sharad Sachan said.

Rakesh left a suicide note in which he accused his wife of having an illicit affair with another man which led him to take the extreme step, Sachan said.
