Man held for stealing motorcycle in Samba

A man was arrested for allegedly stealing a motorcycle from Meghwal tehsil in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

Sudesh Sharma complained on March 17 stating that his two-wheeler was stolen from Nonath Ashram area here, following which police constituted a team and arrested one person after recovering the stolen motorcycle from him last evening, a police official said.

The accused is a resident of Kathua district, the official said adding investigation is on to find out whether the accused was accompanied by someone else in the crime.
