Man injured after being shot at by in-laws, 6 others

A man was seriously injured when six unidentified persons traveling along with his father-in-law and brother-in-law in a car allegedly opened fire at him near Anangpur village here, police said today.

Aaruni alias Sonu, a native of Surajkund area was allegedly shot at yesterday when he was driving his car, police said.

According to a complaint filed by Sonu, he was stopped by another car near Surajkund area in which his father-in-law Ravinder and brother-in-law Rahul Walia were traveling along with six unidentified persons, who allegedly opened fire at him and fled the spot.

Sonu received a bullet on his stomach, police said, adding a case has been registered and investigation is on in the matter.
