Man killed in group clash

A 55-year-old person today died on the spot and two others injured when two groups clashed due to land dispute in Kandhara area here, police said.

The incident took place in village Hariharpur this afternoon when two groups fought and attacked each others with sticks killing one Ramnath and injuring two others, they said.

The injured persons have been rushed to the hospital, where their condition is stated to be stable, police said.

An FIR has been lodged in this connection but no one has been arrested so far, they said.
