Suspecting his wife's fidelity, a man allegedly killed his wife and daughter while leaving his two other children critically injured in Gaura village here, police said today.
The accused, Santosh Pasi (40) suspected that his wife Maya (38) was involved in an illicit relationship following which he killed her and their 14-year-old daughter Roli using a sickle and left two other children seriously injured, they said.
While his wife and the daughter died on the spot, the other two kids were rushed to a nearby hospital, they said, adding the two was later transfered to the Trauma Centre in Lucknow as their condition deteriorated.
A case has been registered against the accused under various sections of IPC, SO Rampurmathura Jai Shankar Singh said.
