Man kills wife over 'illicit affair'

Suspecting infidelity, a man allegedly killed his wife in Channi Himat area of Jammu, police said today.

Sham Lal, a labourer and native of Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, was living in a rented accommodation with his wife here, police said.

Lal killed his wife yesterday as he had doubt that she was in a relationship with another man, police said.

A case was registered and Lal was arrested.
