Man lures minor, rapes her

A minor was raped by an

unidentified person in Sanjay colony area here, police said today.

An unknown person lured the victim and took her to sector-23 in Sanjay colony yesterday forcefully where he raped her, police said.

He also threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anybody, police said.

Police have registered a case under Section 376 (sexual offences, including rape) of IPC and started a probe into the matter.
