Man murders woman at railway station

A 22-year-old man hit a woman with sleeper-wood in broad daylight today at the railway station here, killing her, police said.

The man had an altercation with th 37-year-old woman hailing from Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh and then hit her with the sleeper-wood, police said.

She died on the spot, police said.

A case was registered and the man arrested.
