Man robbed of Rs 6.8 lakh

Two motorcycle-borne

youths snatched a bag containing Rs 6.8 lakh from a man in Sri Hargobindpur town of the district, police said today.

Kuldip Singh, a resident of Kartar Nagar of Batala, had sold land to a farmer and as he came out from the sub-tehsil of the area, the youths snatched the bag containing cash and fled from the spot, police said.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the robbers, they added.
