Man's body found in rivulet in Doda

A middle-aged man, who went missing yesterday, was today found dead in a rivulet here, police said.

Roshan Lal, a resident of village Cheka of Tehsil Bhalla, was found dead at Mohra Nullah, 1 km away from his village, according to the police.

The family members were searching for him as he went missing last night, they said.

Preliminary investigation shows that he might have slipped from a nearly 30-feet slope and fell into the rivulet, SDPO Bhadarwah Sardar Sajjad Ahmed Khan said.

The body was taken to a primary health center (PHC) where post-mortem was conducted.
