Man sentenced to seven years in jail in rape case
A man was sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment by a local court here for raping a teenaged girl.
Additional District Judge Ashwini Kumar Singh also imposed a fine of Rs 19,000 on the convict Lalji Gupta.
In April 2014, Gupta had raped the 16-year-old victim at her house in Dokati area.
The victim's father had lodged an FIR against Lalji.
