Man shot dead for resisting robbery bid

A man was shot dead by some unidentified assailants when he resisted their robbery bid here.

The incident took place last night when Rajiv Ganjwar (26) was returning home and the robbers waylaid him. When he resisted their bid, they shot him, Superintendent of Police (City) Sameer Saurabh said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.
