Man shot dead in Churu dist

A 44-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified persons in Rajasthan's Churu district, police said today.

Ramlal Meghwal was murdered last night in Dudhwa Khara police station when some unidentified persons came in a jeep and opened fire at him, they said.

Khara was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared dead.

Reasons behind the murder are not clear yet and the matter is under investigation, the police said.
