Man shot dead in Ludhiana

Two unidentified motorcycle- borne youths shot dead a 'Hindu Takhat' organisation leader here this evening, police said today.

Amit Sharma was in his car near Durga Mata Mandir here when two motorcycle-borne youths fired at him. He died on the spot, they said.

However, the assailants managed to flee from the spot.

Commissioner of Police Jatinder Singh Aulakh, after getting the information, rushed to the spot along with a large force.

Police said several teams have been dispatched to track the accused.
