Man shot dead in UP's Baghpat district

A 25-year-old man was shot dead early on Tuesday morning at his house in Kirthal village in the district, police said.

Inspector Mahipal Singh at the Ramala police station said, "The deceased has been identified as Pintu (25). Pintu was sleeping, when he was shot dead. He died on the spot."

The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said.

Police is probing all the possible angles.
