Man shot dead outside Lil Durk concert

A 25-year-old man has been shot dead outside rapper Lil Durk's concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The shooting happened on September 4 outside the Theatre of the Living Arts, but the gig there went ahead as planned even though police shut down a busy street in front of the venue, Billboard reported.

Fans were queueing to get into the show when shots were fired from a limo, and several bullets reportedly went through the windshield of the rapper's tour bus.

Police have not released the name of the victim, and the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that he was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
