Manmohan Singh attends last rites of his nephew

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today visited the holy city and paid his last respects to his nephew Mandeep Singh Kohli (55).

Kohli was the son of his Amritsar-based brother and died due to a sudden heart attack yesterday, his family said.

Singh also visited the local Congress MLAs OM Parkash Soni and Raj Kumar Verka and expressed his condolence at the death of Verka's brother and Soni's father.
