Margaret Alva selected for Mercy Ravi award

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy would present the award at a function here on Wednesday, Chairman of the Mercy Ravi foundation P V Chandran said.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit had won the award last year.

The award has been instituted in memory of Mercy Ravi, wife of Congress leader and Union Minister Vayalar Ravi.
