A 20-year-old married girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Chauli village here, police said today.
The victim has alleged in her complaint that 25-year-old Bhejjeet lured her into accompanying him to a hotel on June 13 on some pretext. He then raped her and left her at the hotel room, Dy SP Rajendra Prasad Yadav said.
At the hotel, the accused introduced the girl as his wife saying she was ill and has been brought to Mathura for consultation with a physician, he added.
The medical examination has confirmed rape and the accused has been arrested.
The girl and the accused belong to Chauli village. She is married to one Madanlal of Hathras village and visits Chauli regularly for tailoring training, said Yadav.
