A case was lodged against two persons for allegedly raping a married woman at gunpoint in Dhatigara village here few months back and also threatening the victim with dire consequences, if she reported the incident to anyone.
The FIR was filed against Ashish and another person at Aliganj police station yesterday, on the orders of a local court.
The victim alleged that the accused entered her house at Dhatigara village on July 17 and raped her at gunpoint, police said.
Reportedly, police refused to file her complaint, following which she approached the court.
