In restricted activity, moong and its dal prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today on selective buying from retailers.
However, other pulses moved in a tight range on little doing and settled around previous levels.
Traders said selective buying by retailers against limited arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up masoor and its dal prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-5,850 and Rs 5,700-5,900 per quintal, respectively. Its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6,700-6,800 and Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal, respectively.
