Thousands of youths today offered prayers at the Assam Rifles ground in Aizawl in a mass prayer organised by the central committee of the Kristian Thalai Pawl (KTP), the youth wing of the Presbyterian Church.
The mass prayer service was held on diverse subjects including peace and tranquility in Mizoram and the entire country and improvement in all walks of life.
Prayers were held for better unity of ethnic Mizos, and kin of the victims of violence in neighbouring Manipur's hill areas.
Meanwhile, the Baptist Church of Mizoram also organised prayers by fasting today and that also for the redemption of the world by the mercies of God.
